How difficult are the trails and how fit do I need to be?
Our trails vary in difficulty from mellow beginner trails to steep and technical expert trails. Our guides take pride in matching the desires and abilities of our guests with the most appropriate trails and tours. Just tell us a bit about yourself and we’ll be able to pick the perfect ride for you, no matter what your skill level!
That being said... Mountain bike trails in BC tend to be tougher and more technical than many other places around the world. That’s what makes the riding here so great! But it can also be a struggle or even become dangerous if you're not prepared. Believe us, we’ve witness many riders get humbled by our big-mountain trails! When deciding which of our trips or trails are right for you and you group, please be seriously realistic of the riding ability and fitness of yourself and everyone in your group.

Can I rent/hire a bike or do I need to bring my own?
If you need to rent a bike, just let us know! We'll happily arrange it for you and have it ready for you when you arrive.
What’s the weather like?
Revelstoke and the Kootenay region are located in an inland temporate rainforest. The same deep powder that we enjoy in the winter sometimes falls in its wetter form during mountain bike season, especially in the spring and fall. Thankfully, most mountain bikers aren't made of sugar. In fact, many of our best rides end with soggy shoes and a muddy grin! During the summer months of July and August and into September, we are generally blessed with great weather! Most days are sunny and somewhere in the 20-30° Celsius range. In July it is common to see temps above 30 deg. Celcius.
Please, watch the weather before the day of your tour and be prepared for a potentially wet ride. Tours, lessons and shuttles will only be cancelled due to severe thunderstorms or prolonged periods of intense rain, in which case, a full refund and/or rescheduled tour will be offered.
What if I am riding solo?
No problem! All of our day tours have a base price for 1 person. If you'd rather join a group, we can add you to our solo rider calendar and try to pair you up. There are no guarantees that we will be able to find you a compatible group to ride with, but we'll do our best!
You can also consider joining one of our All-Inclusive Mountain Bike Vacations and you’ll have an unforgettable experience meeting new friends and riding the best trails in BC!
Do you offer private tours for small groups?
You bet we do! Our Day Tours are specifically designed for small private groups and on top of that you can book any one of our Skills Clinics or All-Inclusive Mountain Bike Vacations for your private group, with custom dates available. We can also arrange customized guided trips, tours or lessons for your private group. Contact us for more info.
What is your Cancellation Policy?

In light of all the uncertainty in the world right now, we want you to feel safe booking with us and know that if you can't make your booking, you can easily reschedule or get your money back.
